Water casting is creation in its purest form.

Silver is piled in a crucible and melted with a smithing torch into its liquid form. The molten metal is then poured into ice cold water. Unique shapes sizzle and bounce as the water instantly solidifies the metal.

The results are completely wild and unpredictable. The vast majority of the molten drops don’t amount to anything; at which point they’re melted again and dropped into the ice water again and again until the result feels just right.

Some people think they look like peace lilies, squid, plastic bags, eggshells, on and on. The organic shapes remind me of yonis, vulva, and all things divinely feminine.
